Staff of AIC that successfully completed the Insurance foundation certificate (WAII) 2019
Selection for participation in external programs such as the Insurance Foundation Course and Diploma in Insurance Program depends on performance in internal training tests and exams.

The Company has sponsored a total of 19 members of staff to pursue the One Year Diploma in Insurance Course at the West African Insurance Institute (WAII) in Banjul, The Gambia. From that number seven graduated with distinction including two with highest scholastic awards; eight graduated with creditable pass and four graduated with ordinary passes.

In 2019 a total number of 37 employees took part in other trainings ranging from Enterprise Risk Management, Micro Insurance, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Fraud Detection, Human Resources and the WAII Insurance foundation course.
