School Drug Sensitisation Programs

Annie Walsh Memorial School

Today, we continued our drug abuse sensitisation campaign in secondary schools. We were at The Annie Walsh Memorial School, where we educated students on the harmful effects and dangers of drug abuse.

The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating and asking thoughtful questions. We discussed how drug abuse can negatively impact their health, academic performance, relationships, and future ambitions. We also emphasized the importance of making informed decisions, resisting peer pressure, and seeking help when faced with challenges.

In addition, we briefly introduced insurance as a career path, highlighting the opportunities it offers, its importance in risk management, and the benefits it provides to individuals, families, and businesses. The students were curious and engaged, asking several questions about both drug prevention and career prospects in insurance.

It was truly encouraging to see their enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Together, we continue to empower young minds with the knowledge they need to make safe and informed choices for a brighter future.
